[wxMac 2.7.0] wxSlider broken?

Hi,

I compiled the wxWidget sample and found out that the user cannot select 
the most upper values of the slider (also in my own program it does not 
work). In the wxWidget sample the slider values range from 0 to 100 but 
I can only select the values from 0 to 97!
Is there any workaround or is the problem solved in 2.8.x?
