Does wxWidget support use of wxAutomationObject on Windows using Cygwin compiler?>

Hello.

It is unclear to me if wxWidgets supports use of wxAutomationObject when using
the Cygwin compiler under Windows.

Can anyone clarify this?

There are very few mentions of wxAutomationObject usage on wxWidgets site;
however, at least one site I have perused suggested that wxAutomationObject
was only supported under VisualC.

I have seen 'bindings' and code for OLE automation using Cygwin, so I would
be very surprised by this, but I am still compelled to ask.
