compilation problems with v2.8.0 on Solaris 10 11/06

Hi,
On my way to compile PgAdmin III 1.6.2, I needed to compile
wxWidgets on Solaris 10 11/06 all patches.

On calling make a really strange error pops up:
make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 29510: Macro assignment on dependency line

Can anyone explain to me what this error message means,
and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Greetings,
Lophiomys
