Direct3D + wxWidgets ... do they play nice together?

I've been working with Ogre3D which is an open-source 3D rendering engine
that uses DirectX as one of the rendering components. I've had no problems
with integrating it fully.

I'm using a wxPanel as my rendering surface without setting anything special
on it.

mRenderPanel->GetHandle()

Is the handle I am passing in to Ogre in order to put Direct3D on the
surface.
