What? Lines of code? I haven't counted. The uncompressed size of the
binary is in the About box, final tab, in parenthesis.

I'm putting my money on wx. But it's difficult to make predictions,
especially about the future!
It's much easier to discuss the present: the alternatives to wx are
frankly horrible, Qt (bloated,obese,overpriced), dotnet/mono (I wouldn't
bet on the x-platform expectations of it to become fulfilled ever...
Tomboy??), regular Gtk (plain C, looks very out of place on Windows),
MFC (basically in feature-freeze for 9 years now). In a truly
web-centric future, Java, a completely different beast, may become a
contender. But do Java cut it for 'regular' (non-web) apps today? Try
holding up http://www.mucommander.com, made in Java, to my app.
Let's hope wx stays on track.
Regards
Troels
