[OT] platforms? website updates?

Hello all,

as you probably already read it previously in this discussion list, at Ellié 
Computing, we build ECMerge, a differentiation and merge solution using wx 
as its base framework (BTW, we provide free licences of ECMerge to 
wx-contributors and rebates to wx-developpers/users).

we are currenctly adding FTP support to ECMerge, as a 'website update' 
functionality.

I wonder however if we should add support for other methods (such as HTTP 
PUT / HTTP WebDAV, other?). What is your prefered method?
