Error in wxFileName?

Hi,

i tried to use wxFileName to determine if a directory exists. On local  
directories
everything works fine.
But if i try to access a directory on a network the function  
wxFileName::DirExists
returns false even if the directory exists. So does  
wxFileName::FileExists...

Maybe there is a bug?

I am using 2.6.3 (static unicode build) on Windows XP (german version).
