Locallisation of wxWidget based applications

Hi,

the newsreader Forte Agent uses wxWidgets. As it is available only in
English we had a discussion how a localisation could be done. We thought
it should be possible by editing the .xrc files inside the
.xrs-ZIP-Container used by Agent.

After extensive search using Google I gave up. Can anybody here tell me
where I can find some documentation about how the labels in wxWidgets
XML-based resource system can be localised and what tools might exist
for this?
