 Indeed, thanks for (re)testing. Is distrib/scripts/create_archives.sh
used for the creation of these files, Chris? I did add univ.rsp to the
filelist for wxX11 so I don't know why the files are not included.

 The 2.8 archives are generated automatically by scripts while before they
were created by hand, so it's not unexpected that things changed.
