[wx-discuss] Roadmap and timing of next release

The wxWidgets roadmap found here (http://www.wxwidgets.org/develop/ 
roadmap.htm) was last updated before the 2.8.4 release.  I have a  
couple of questions on this:

1. Is the roadmap still accurate in terms of one 2.9 release, no more  
planned 2.8 releases, and then a 3.0 release?

2. What is the current plan for 2.9?  The June date on that page is  
out of date, of course?

3. I am assuming that the current top of tree in SVN is going to be  
in 2.9.  Is that correct?

There is at least one fix in the current top of tree that I am  
interested in.  Also, there is more incentive to submit bug fixes if  
I know the top of tree will be released within my window of need.
