btw with which politics do Google folks assign slots ?

Great, I'd love to see three things in wx3:
- wxBitmapButton and wxButton merged so I can start adding both labels
and images to my buttons making apps nicer :)
- XTI and persistent controls
- wxDataViewCtrl, wxSimpleDataViewCtrl/wxTreeListCtrl for replacing
wxListCtrl lists which I don't like (both for API and for being
non-native under wxGTK).
I.e. at the end of the SoC two out of three should be completed ;)
And Jamie Gadd recently replied me about the wxBitmapButton+wxButton
patch and he said he'll post the wxMSW part on the weekend.
