I agree, but I don't think that these would be a substitute for a demo that 
showcases all the different features.  wxWidgets needs an app that shows, 
e.g., the different picture file formats supported, picture rotation, the 
relatively easy way to make international apps, all the different controls, 
the sizers (another big one that I missed when evaluating Qt vs. 
wxWidgets), etc.

In addition, I think that the demo should have two views, one showing the 
particular feature being demoed, and the other its source code 
implementation.  This would help programmers evaluate the library faster 
and better.
