I think that the existing demos are adequate but should be combined into a 
single app.  I don't think that showcasing another app like DialogBlocks 
would really do it, e.g. when I was evaluating Qt vs. wxWidgets, I needed 
picture rotation.  When I selected wxWidgets, I resigned myself to the fact 
that wxWidgets didn't have picture rotation, only to discover later on that 
it did, and with anti-aliasing to boot.  DialogBlocks would not have 
showcased that feature.

I'd suggest that a good starting point is to look at the Qt demo app and to 
match it first, and then build on that.  After all, Qt would be the main 
competitor, no?
