I like this idea as well. I definitely see the value of having the
complete wx3 API designed and *usable* as soon as possible. This allows
it to be tested and evaluated and if there are design problems then they
will be discovered and corrected much more quickly. On the other hand
only focusing on the wx3-on-2 approach to begin with might accidentally
result in doing some wx3 things in a non-optimal or non "Best Practices"
way because of the dependency on wx2, so also having one or more people
looking at native wx3 implementations will help to avoid that pitfall,
and the end result should be a very clean separation between the public
API and the backend implementations, which is something that I think all
of us would like to have.
