 I don't know how many people have rebuilt their wx applications with
trunk. My guess would be not much as most people don't use development
releases and most of those that do don't use svn. So I really think we
should wait for 2.9.0 to have any idea at all about this. But even then
we won't hear anything precisely from the people who will be most likely to
have problems with upgrading their code (i.e. those that know the least
about Unicode and don't follow wxWidgets development closely) so I'd still
prefer to be cautious and keep ANSI build in 3.0.

 We could update the documentation to be for Unicode only however, this
shouldn't be a problem.
