Thank you for all your replies, it gives me confidence to use wxAUI now.

I am more concerned about bugfixes than new features. wxAUI is very 
powerful as it is now, and I just want to know that it will be stable 
(i.e. all bugs fixed) and available (i.e. not removed in, say, wx 3.0) 
in the future.
