platform : windows xp SP2 , activepython 2.5 , wxpython 2.8.3 

I found two strange behaviour in SetStyleEx ; maybe it's my fault, but I cannot find a solution.

first, after applying an attribute, further letters on the same line become "superscript".

secondly, if a newline follows the character immediatly after the range selected, the style is applied also to this character.

please find attached a sample program that shows the problems.

I think this is fixed now but if not, please reopen or add a new report,
preferably with a C++ sample or instructions on how to reproduce it in the
C++ sample. Thanks.
