Initial Comment:
Pocket PC: 

steps to reproduce: 

1) create a wxRadioBox as a child of a non-TLW window.
2) tap on one of the unselected buttons.

symptom:
WM2003SE: works fine
WM5: hangs program

version:
wxWidgets 2.8.0

I've attached a trimmed down sample that reproduces the bug.

notes:
pressing arrow keys to check other buttons in the wxRadioBox does not hang the app

I have confirmed this happends on real and emulator WM5 devices myself and
I've had a report from the wild that it happens on real WM6 devices.

Yes it happens in the emulator.  In fact, I've only tested this in the WM5
emulator so I'm not sure if it happens in a real device.

the problem is not related to compile options.  Executables built for
WM4.2 & WM5 both hang when run on WM5
