What is about the PNG-transparance-background-is-black-BUG (#1816085)?

No one answered. No one told that the bugfix is in progress. No one 
explained why there is no bugfix.

I tried to understand the related code. But it is to heavy. I know 
nothing about image-processing.

But I need correct transparent icons (plattform indepmendent; no 
ICO-files) in my application. Maybe there is a workaround?
