Hi xavier,

running it with nmake doesnt work either.
It stopps immediately by telling me that "cl" is an unknown command.

Do you have those weird *95.cpp files on your computer? It worries me a
little bit that some things are commited and others not :-/

Did you tried with the nmake method  (in command line) ?

I tried to compile 2.8.7 with VS2008 with the solution without success, 
but it worked find in console mode.
