[wxGTK] Old apps with newer GTK2 libs.

Hi, =
I just noticed that an old app of mine using wxGTK-2.6.4 with GTK2
reliably crashes
immediately on an up-to-date system (i.e. on SuSE-10.3) while it
reliably works on
systems with older GTK2 libraries (e.g. SuSE-10.1).
I tracked it down to a bug that's been fixed in 2.8 and trunk, but only
after 2.6.4 was
released, so the bug still exists there (and apparently causes problems
once you
upgrade your GTK2 libraries).
Just applying the "obvious" patch, recompiling the two files of
wxGTK-2.6.4, and
relinking my application made it work with the newer libraries as well.
I think everybody will prefer that kind of quick fix over the need to
update the application
to wx-2.8 (and retest) "right at the wrong moment", so perhaps we should
make a note
on the download page and point to the said patch (attached).
Regards,
Stefan
