for mac no almost none, up to now switching to trunk always meant 
adapting wxmac code to changes outside wxmac first, and this took up 
more time than I have now, I hardly had time to concentrate on 1 branch, 
but once you say you're stopping major changes, start ramping up for 
2.9.0, I'll merge the changes from 2.8 back in.
