How set Fore/Back-ground Color for a wxSpinCtrl ?

How I can set up the Foreground and Background Colour for a wxSpinCtrl ?

SetForegroundColour and SetBackgroundColour does not refer to the "buddy"
text control! (wxMSW-2.8.5-rc3) 

Someone could tell me if (and how) I can use the "GetBuddyWndProc" method ?
