For my own applications I've used XMLmind and Serna Syntext, both are 
enough WYSIWYG to me, currently I'm using Syntext mostly. Most of my 
time though was spent getting the stylesheets to do what I wanted (more 
or less at least ;-) but once you have it, there is no more formatting 
during writing at least ...
