Generating patches without troubles

Thanks for the help everyone,

I don't have any problem with reviewing the changes(and I do it in all cases, actually I overdo it 
which slows me down somehow), but the first time I generated a patch - because of the makefiles - it 
was 2.3 megs and only 50 KB of those were my actual changes.

Ok, I'll know how to find my way around, I just thought there may be another method, but turns out 
there aren't any.
