wxAui Tooltip bug (?)

Refer to sample "auidemo"

a) In the tree pane expand all items when the mouse is on a 
    SubItem appear a tooltip. Ok

b) Make the Tree Pane floating (maybe extern to Application window) 
    move mouse on a SubItem: the tooltip NOT appear.
    It is UNDER floating window, you can see reducing window width!

Is it a bug?
