 Honestly, I don't think it's that useful. I can imagine some situations
where it would be useful but suspending the (normal) gauge should work
almost as well and implementing this should make our life much easier.

 So I propose to keep the things simple and

1. don't implement this control for pre-XP Windows systems for now
2. don't support switching from normal to indeterminate mode after creation
