I don't think it makes too much difference if you call in wxAui 
instead of wxDockable because very rapidly the Aui acronym will get a 
meaning.

Working with ATSUI on the Mac I became used to seeing calls of the 
flavour ATSGetFobarFontThing very quickly. To my mind the advantage 
of wxDockable (which my gut instinct likes) will be for the first few 
hours of adoption - after that it may be that something shorter would 
be easier.

The killer is consistency =;-)
