Summary: wxMDIxxx display redraw problems

Initial Comment:
After closing the last MDI child window, the tab area
is not cleaned up, causing redraw problems.

To replicate:
* Compile and run samples/mdi/mdi
* Open a new child window from the file dialog
* Close the child window from the file dialog

Note there is a bogus tab remaining. The area should be
updates so this is wiped off. Repainting the whole
window does clean it up.

Observed wx2.6.3 GTK CVSHEAD
