I don't understand that part about the "error in committing". Does it mean
that you are using for wxW development same CVS copy as you are using for
doing packages?

I believe that what Kevin assumed is the only choice. If you do not regenerate
makefiles on top of copy of CVS then how do you package them with CVS?
