If we make it very very clear that this is in no way an API stable
release, I'm in favour of getting a tarball out.
There are lots of things yet to do that affect ABI/API tremendously.
E.g, I still haven't done C++ visibility stuff (hiding private symbols
with gcc), wxDataViewCtrl needs lots of work changing API probably
(though I think the class isn't even enabled by default), wxRichTextCtrl
is very slow and not very modular (MVC?), etc etc.

We are missing Julian?
