It doesn't appear possible to set the background colour of individual lines 
in a wxTextCtrl. At least in with the following style flags: wxTE_RICH2 | 
wxTE_MULTILINE | wxVSCROLL|wxHSCROLL|wxSUNKEN_BORDER|
wxTE_READONLY
