The original idea was that wxaddons was a place for 3rd party wxPython  
modules which had their own versioning system. i.e. you could update  
them independent of wxPython itself. This way, a 3rd party wxPy  
modules could be distributed with wxPython itself, but it would still  
be usable by any version of wx it supported and could be updated by  
the user at any time.

Unfortunately, wxaddons never really took off and it probably makes  
more sense to just remove it at this point, as SizedControls was the  
only thing that ever really used it.
